This edition features a 72 profile, which translates to a 4-1/4” cattleman crown and 4-1/4” brim. Like all Skylines, it’s finished with a matching self-felt band and three-piece, silver-tone buckle. A hand-sewn genuine leather sweatband and full satin liner provide a time-tested fit and premium comfort.

Understanding the "X" Rating

The "X" rating system for felt hats traditionally represents the quality of the felt based on the fur content. While the rating system can vary by manufacturer and specific blend, 5X is considered a quality fur felt hat.

A hat with a higher X rating, such as 10X or 20X, contains a greater proportion of finer furs and is considered to be of higher quality and durability.
